About Boulder

At 5,430 feet above sea level, acres of vast open space roll into Boulder’s quaint cityscape, tucked into the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Come explore the beautiful trails, taste the flavors of “America’s Foodiest Town,” tour 20 craft breweries, stroll historic Pearl Street and soak up this creative community’s laid-back lifestyle.

An entrepreneurial hotspot, Boulder has nurtured a wide variety of industries since the 60s, including natural foods, computer technology, biotech, and even shoes.  It’s the original home of Ball Aerospace (one of the first NASA contractors), herbal tea pioneer Celestial Seasonings, the biochemistry lab that led to Amgen, and it’s home-away-from-home for several of silicon valley’s tech giants, including Google.

It’s also home to the University of Colorado (The Buffs) and some of America’s best public schools, like Fair View High School and Boulder High School whose scores are among the best in the nation.
